Book Fair

We are excited to work with Idaho Book Fairs (idahobookfairs.com) this year. They will have everything set up and ready for you to browse and buy during Parent Teacher Conferences, October 4-5, 12:50-7:00pm.

Please sign up to help man the Book Fair for a couple of hours before or after you meet with your teachers.

Box Tops

Remember to collect those Box Tops!  Each one is 10 cents for our school and that can really add up.  Did you know that Taylor Canyon's lifetime earnings from Box Tops is $8,558.77?! That's a lot of Box Tops!

Be sure to check out the Box Tops bulletin board at the school and also the Box Tops For Education app.  You can earn Bonus Box Tops just for buying certain things you probably already buy. It's easy to use and can really add up quickly. For example, until 9/30/2017, you can earn $2.00 for our school just by buying 5 boxes of Annie's products. Our school already has $23 from Bonus Box Tops.

This year's overall goal is $1,000.  Comment if you have questions, would like more info, or even a demonstration of how the Bonus Box Tops app works.

September Meeting Minutes

PTA Budget

The TCE PTA Budget for 2017/2018 was approved by the members on 9/7/2017.  Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

LEGO Club!

LEGO Club's first meeting is today after school.  Your student should have gotten the permission slip either Friday or yesterday.

PTA Clubs

We're happy to announce the start of the PTA clubs for 2017/18.  We'll have the Art Club, the Lego Club, the Chess Club, and, new this year, the Culture Club.  The clubs will meet on the following days:

Art Club - 2nd Monday of each month starting in October - Gym
Chess Club - Every Wednesday starting in October - Gym
Culture Club - 4th Thursday of each month starting in September - Mrs. Gibson's Classroom
Lego Club - 3rd Tuesday starting in September - Gym

The permission slip has all the details and all students must have a slip on file before participating.  There's only one slip for all the clubs.
